I purchased this product along with the Kindle after reading about people dropping their Kindles before getting a chance to download a book. When I first received the product it seemed too flimsy to be of much protection. But, after having it banging around in my purse every day for a month, and being thrown on the floor by a toddler, it seems to protect my Kindle very well. I only give it 3 durability stars because the part that holds the zipper pull on the front pocket broke. I can also see that I will have to replace this jacket quicker than I would have if I had just spent the money and purchased a leather one.
