Battle: Los Angeles (2011) is an upcoming science fiction and action-adventure film directed by Jonathan Liebesman, it stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena, Bridget Moynahan, Gabourey Sidibe, and Ne-Yo. Battle: Los Angeles (2011) is also known as “World Invasion”, the shoot of the film began from September 2009 through October 2010 in Shreveport and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This film is the story of a Marine Sgt. Nantz, who is the leader of his newly platoon. He leads againsts the surprised attack of a strange alien like army oozing out of the water in Los Angeles. Together with his platoon, they rescue civilians in Santa Monica and destroy the hub of the enemy’s mysterious power grid, while similar epic battles are waged across the world in other cities. Battle: Los Angeles (2011) movie was described by some as “Black Hawk Down meets Independence Day”.
