It's great for working with concrete, installing a ceiling grip, or building outdoor decks and raised patios. This rotary laser features a rough-and-tough rotary cage to help prevent wear and tear on the rotary head if it happens to fall to the floor; additionally, this cage is comprised of several thin struts that ensure consistent power while preventing blind spots from getting in the way of performance. Most importantly, the DW074KD's beam is clear and easy to see up to 100 feet indoors and up to 1000 feet (in diameter) when outside. And to help protect against less-than-perfect weather conditions, the housing is extra durable. The DW074KD comes with one DW0742 detector and clamp, one DW0740 wall mount, target card, DEWALT contractor's bag, two "D" batteries, and one nine-volt battery.
